At SKiiLLY, your child's safety is our top priority. We've designed the platform with privacy and security at its core from day one. That's why all player profiles start as private by default—giving parents complete control over what is shared and with whom, in a fully protected, kid-safe environment.

As our community continues to grow, we're excited to give parents even more choice and flexibility! In an upcoming update, we'll introduce optional public profiles, allowing you to decide when and if you're ready to make your young player's profile visible to the wider SKiiLLY soccer community.

Going public opens up exciting new possibilities: fellow parents, coaches, and fans can discover your child's journey, follow their progress, engage with their highlights, and celebrate their achievements, all within our dedicated, soccer-focused platform. It’s the perfect way to increase visibility, build a fan base, and help your young star gain recognition in a supportive and positive space.

Of course, privacy remains paramount. Switching to public is entirely optional and fully reversible. Parents retain complete control at all times, you can adjust visibility settings whenever you like, restrict certain content, or return to private mode in just a few taps. Every public profile will continue to benefit from our robust safety features, including moderated interactions, reporting tools, age-appropriate restrictions, and full compliance with COPPA and GDPR.

This step is all about empowering profile building, giving talented grassroots players a safe stage to showcase their skills, stats, and personality, while opening doors to new opportunities, networks, and encouragement from the broader football family.
